Phonology.ae – Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
(In Accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law)
At Phonology.ae, we are committed to providing a transparent and fair shopping experience. Our policies are designed in compliance with the UAE Federal Law No. (15) of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Cabinet Decision No. (66) of 2023 (Executive Regulation for E-Commerce).
Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving your order if:
The item was damaged during delivery
The item is defective or not functioning properly
The wrong item was delivered
The item received does not match the description on our website
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
All accessories, manuals, and tags must be intact
The product must not be activated, tampered with, or registered
You must provide the original invoice or order confirmation
Returns due to change of mind are not accepted, especially for electronics once opened or used.
Exchange Policy
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, we will replace it at no extra cost. Exchanges are subject to inspection and approval. If a replacement is unavailable, you may choose an alternative product or a full refund.
Refund Policy
A full refund will be issued under the following conditions:
The product is defective and cannot be repaired or replaced
You received an incorrect item
The item delivered was significantly different from the listing
The product was not delivered within 15 working days, unless due to force majeure
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 to 14 business days after the return is received and approved. Your bank may require additional time to post the refund. If you have not received the refund after 15 business days from approval, please contact us at phonologyuae@gmail.com.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:
Opened or activated electronics
Used personal care or hygiene-related items such as earphones
Customized or personalized products
Items sold under final sale or clearance
Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling
Warranty Support
Some products may carry a manufacturer warranty. For warranty claims, please provide the item serial number and proof of purchase. We will coordinate with the authorized UAE service center in line with the warranty terms.
Return Procedure
To initiate a return, please contact us at phonologyuae@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or videos where applicable.
Once approved, we will provide return shipping instructions and a shipping label if required.
Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.
Legal Compliance
This policy is governed by the UAE Consumer Protection Law and is enforced by the Ministry of Economy and local economic departments. Phonology.ae is a registered UAE business operating under a valid e-commerce trade license.
